Pick your face

Tongue Out is the ski mask with your tongue out all day, without the cold air. Picture a bright yellow knit balaclava shaped like a blocky head, with a small knob on top and heavy black brows. Under the goggle opening there's a cheeky smile with a bright red tongue sticking out. It's the face for the friend who always pulls a face in photos anyway.

A ski mask tongue out, all day

Pulling a face for the camera usually lasts one second. Tongue Out keeps it going from the first chair to the last run. The red tongue is the only red on the mask, so it pops against the yellow knit and shows up clearly in phone videos and group shots. Put your goggles on over the knit and the eyebrows and goggles become the eyes of one very pleased cartoon face.

Tongue Out or Smirk?

Both faces have attitude. Tongue Out is loud and playful. Smirk is a sly one-sided smirk, the face of someone who knows something you don't. If you'd rather be funny without the tongue, get Smirk instead. Want to see all four side by side? Visit the funny ski mask page.

Sizing, helmets and goggles

Tongue Out comes in one stretchy polyester size for adult heads near 22–23 in (56–59 cm). Your helmet goes on over it as usual; it works with most ski and snowboard helmets. Above the grin there's a single wide opening shaped for ski goggles, so your own pair slots right in. We don't include goggles; the pair in our photos is just there for the look. Think of it as a fun layer for chairlift rides and chilly afternoons rather than technical gear.

Gift it

At $24.99 it's an easy gift for a skier or snowboarder who has everything. Buying for more than one person? Two masks knock 15% off and three knock off 20%, whatever faces you choose. Orders of $45 or more ship free in the US.

Questions

What does the tongue look like up close?
It's part of the face design on the front of the mask: a bright red tongue under a cheeky smile. The product photos show it up close.
Does it fit under a helmet?
Yes, most ski and snowboard helmets fit over it. The mask is a single stretch size for adult heads around 22–23 in (56–59 cm).
Are goggles included?
No, bring your own pair. The mask has a wide opening built around ski goggles.
Can I mix Tongue Out and Smirk in one order?
Yes. Mixing is fine: two masks take 15% off and three take 20% off, and checkout applies it on its own.
How do I wash it?
Wash it by hand in cold water, then let it dry flat.
