Pick your face

The best gifts for snowboarders show up on camera. Riders film everything: the park laps, the powder turns, the slams. Blockhead puts a bright yellow blocky head with a cartoon face in every one of those clips. It's a full-face knit mask with a little knob on top, thick black eyebrows and a face you choose, so the person you buy it for is impossible to miss on the hill.

Why it's one of the easiest gifts for snowboarders

Boards, bindings and boots come down to personal taste, and getting them wrong is expensive. A face mask is low risk. It fits most adult heads, it works with the helmet and goggles they already ride in, and nobody else at their mountain has one. It also keeps the wind off on cold chair rides. It's a fun knit layer, not a technical piece, so think style first and warmth second.

Made to look good in clips

Yellow reads clearly against white snow and grey skies, so even a shaky phone video picks it up. The faces are big and bold for the same reason. Chomp, with its full grid of top and bottom teeth, gets the biggest reactions in videos; read more about it on the ski mask with teeth page. Big Grin is the friendly pick and the most chosen face so far, Tongue Out is pure attitude and Smirk keeps it low-key.

Fit with helmet and goggles

One stretch size for adult heads about 22–23 in (56–59 cm). It sits under a snowboard helmet, and the single wide eye opening is cut for goggles (we don't include goggles; the ones in our photos are styling). Riding with a crew? Mix faces and save: 15% off two, 20% off three, 25% off four, applied at checkout.

Price and delivery

Each mask costs $24.99. Shipping is a flat $4.99, or free once your order reaches $40. The product page shows when your order goes out, and tracked delivery takes about 7–14 days to the US, 14–24 days to Canada and 12–21 days to Europe. Choose a face and plan a few weeks ahead for holiday gifts.

Questions

Does it work for park and freestyle riding?
It stays put under a helmet and the stretch knit moves with you. It is a fun layer rather than protective gear, so ride with your usual helmet.
Will it fit with snowboard goggles?
Yes. There is one wide eye opening shaped for goggles, and the mask sits under the helmet strap like a normal balaclava.
Which face looks best on video?
Chomp and Big Grin read the clearest from a distance because of the white teeth. Tongue Out adds a pop of red.
How do returns work?
Send back unworn, unwashed masks within 30 days of delivery for a refund. If something arrives damaged, email a photo within 7 days.
